Hope you all are enjoying this nice mild fall weather. It is starting to turn a little more seasonal this week which should bring the rest of the leaves down and you can finish your raking.

Our meeting last month was very well attended, was very interesting and generated a lot of good questions. The folks from R. W. Sullivan Code Group presented a great overview of the differences between the 6^th and 7^th editions of the Massachusetts State Building Code for all buildings other than one and two family dwellings. If any of you would like a copy of their presentation just let us know.

We have another interesting program arranged for this month’s meeting related to green building and energy conservation and concrete masonry construction. Please see front page of this newsletter for more details. So be sure to let Chris at Antonelli Construction know if you are planning to attend.

A few good reasons why you should attend this meeting:

1. The election is over, there are no political ads on TV (thank goodness) and either your guy won or he lost but in either event he will not need you to help him in his campaign.
2. The Red Sox didn’t make it to the World Series and the World Series is over.
3. The Pat’s aren’t on until Thursday when they play the Jets.
4. It’s too early to be thinking about the Celtics winning another championship but they certainly have started out like they are planning on it.
5. It’s too dark at 5:30 to think about raking the rest of those leaves in your yard.
6. You are still waiting for the economy to turn around (so are we) so you might as well come to the CSI meeting and forget about it for one night.
